Instructions for Authors
Ethical Studies accepts only previously unpublished manuscripts. There should be no conflict of interests: if any, it must be clearly stated. ES does not charge any publication fees. It does not pay an honorarium for the approved contributions. All publications are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license – attribution, no derivatives, non-commercial use. The journal allows the authors to hold the copyright without restrictions and to retain publishing rights without restrictions. The authors do not need to request permission to reuse their publications.
There are two deadlines for submissions – June 1 and November 1 of the current year. All submissions made after the deadlines will be considered for publication in the next issue of the journal. All published articles are stored in the digital archive on the journal’s website.
Manuscript Requirements and Format
Ethical Studies publishes papers in Bulgarian, Russian and English. Upon submission, all unsolicited manuscripts are checked by the journal office staff to confirm that they conform to the submission requirements. If they do not, the manuscripts will be returned to the author for required changes.
Ethical Studies is committed to upholding high standards of publication ethics. If plagiarism is detected, the journal editorial board will contact the author’s institution. Depending on the extent of plagiarism, the paper may also be formally retracted.
